My name is Colleen, I currently reside in Newcastle Australia. I am a forty something year old mother of two grown children and in my third decade of being wife to my darling hubby. I love traveling, art and craft, spending time with friends and family and volunteering my time to help others.
My parents taught me well to make, mend, mingle and manage so being frugal, friendly and fun loving would describe me fairly well. I can also be opinionated, outspoken and defensive at times but hey no one is perfect. I look forward to getting to know you as well so join our friendly community here at 365 Less Things where we, that is Cindy, the readers and myself, share opinions, advice and lots of friendly encouragement.

Last week I had the interior of my house painted, minus ceilings. I had to move everything to the center of the room. In the process of getting rooms back together I found at least three things in each room to donate. These items along with stuff I had already bagged up, I now have a very full trunk load to be donated.
You sound like you’ve been looking in my house! I have a pile of clothing to go away that’s stuffed in the bottom of the closet–only recently, though, as I sorted it from where it had been I needed somewhere to gather it together. I need to decide if I’m going to sell it or donate it and finish deciding on the small pile left so it can all go at once.
I recently piled all of my clothing on my bed to see what I had, particularly in the way of pjs. I was kind of thinking maybe I would like a lounge set for Christmas that I could wear to bed as well as out for a walk… Nope, don’t need anything. Got out our stash of gloves, hats, scarves… Nope, don’t need anything… In the process, I was able to toss a pair of leggings that didn’t stay up when I tried to wear them ๐
For Christmas, I have decided to buy myself some consumables (like special coffee and healthy snacks) ๐
