Declutter some scraps. This could be left over fabric, plastic, wood, or other medium that you made something with at sometime. Maybe the leftovers really are of no use to you now. I do this with craft items on a regular basic. I can usually find another crafter who can use these items or I can package a selection up and sent them to the thrift store.

Why do manufacturers use so much cardboard, plastic, etc. to display/protect merchandise? I am making a wedding album for my 2nd cousin’s wedding gift tomorrow. The ribbons came on these big spools that are way bigger than they need to be. They don’t even need a spool. Stickers come in plastic or cellophane. Some things come in hard plastic. I have had to declutter all several items made of each of these materials in the last couple of days. Drives me nuts to have to deal with it.

When we moved out of our old house the property managers made us take out all the shelf paper (non-adhesive, fortunately). Which seemed a waste to throw out, but we’d already lined our new kitchen cabinets (as we’d planned on leaving the ones cut to fit the old kitchen there)
It took a week of no-shows, but today they got picked up!
So maybe it’s pushing it on being a daily mission since I posted them to go away about a week ago, but they just left. To someone who looked in the bag and grinned with a little bounce, so I think they’re off to be useful!
