My name is Colleen, I currently reside in Newcastle Australia. I am a forty something year old mother of two grown children and in my third decade of being wife to my darling hubby. I love traveling, art and craft, spending time with friends and family and volunteering my time to help others.
My parents taught me well to make, mend, mingle and manage so being frugal, friendly and fun loving would describe me fairly well. I can also be opinionated, outspoken and defensive at times but hey no one is perfect. I look forward to getting to know you as well so join our friendly community here at 365 Less Things where we, that is Cindy, the readers and myself, share opinions, advice and lots of friendly encouragement.

Can’t think of anything black. Will instead get rid of something else. Some scrapbook items.
I have a black and white mounted poster from a trip I took with some friends 12 years ago. Will check with friends that went on trip to see if they want it, if no into my garage sale pile it goes.
Will black ink on white paper do?
I’m doing an Olympics cleanse by decluttering some files I moved from my old house while I’m watching. There are a lot of talking heads and commercials in between the actual events so I’m not really missing anything important. By the Closing Ceremonies, I will feel a lot better about the corner where these file boxes live.
Sound excellent
I was noticing when I wore my (black) work sneakers that my feet were getting damp. Finally took a good look at the sole and guess what? A hole the size of a dime straight through! Chucked those sneakers in the trash 🙂
