Declutter a piece of tech that is past being useful to you. I am decluttering my old MacBook as its battery can no longer hold a charge and I don’t need a device so big and cumbersome these days, especially when traveling. I have downsized an iPad and my old files have been loaded onto my husbands MacBook. This item will be sold to someone who I am sure will get years more good use out of it. I am sure the battery can be replaced.
I just found a cassette tape….since i have no way to play it, off it goes to goodwill. Talk about old technology. Lol
Got rid of old cordless vacuum which was replaced by a stronger cordless stick vacuum cleaner.
My decluttering win is a hybrid of the mission. My husband asked me to replace the battery in his spare car key fob. It sat on my dresser for months because we were both busy with other things. I recently asked him to bring up the video instructions on his laptop for me “by next Wednesday”. He bought the battery and brought up the video. I watched the video and successfully switched the battery! It was, like, 5 minutes of my time! The key fob has been returned to its proper home and it’s off my dresser, so a tech chore decluttered 🙂 🙂 🙂
Wrong category…but a good declutter!! Hubby traded a no-longer-used toolbox to our handyman for cleaning out our gutters. Yay hubby!!
