Just today I decided to get rid of a carry on bag. I have others that I use instead. I still have several to choose from of various sizes.

So many conferences and businesses give free totes. Last fall, I asked my church to give me all their freebie totes. We took over 3dozen to homeless shelter. Those folks need a bag to carry their few possessions,

Funnily enough I have sorted out a handbag for our upcoming local Scouts Jumble Sale. I have made myself a promise that I will go through every drawer, shelf and cupboard this year. At the moment as the Scouts Jumble Sale happens on 14th October I am splitting unwanted “stuff ” into two sections: Charity Shop ( our local hospice) and the Scouts for slightly less than perfect items. Both causes dear to my heart. I was diagnosed with breast cancer 6 years ago, had a mastectomy, chemo, radiotherapy, and further chemo-type therapy. Still here ! Our son who died in a car accident aged 21 back in 1996 was a Scout who went to the Jamboree in S. Korea so I still support his Group and their twice yearly Jumble Sales. I have already found so many things. Tackling one room at a time, with little side sweeps at clothes I know I need to get rid of. All very satisfying. I find your blog very uplifting. Thank you.
