Mini Mission- Wednesday 29Nov2017
Declutter one of those pesky items don’t like but keep out of obligation.
Declutter one of those pesky items don’t like but keep out of obligation.
Declutter any sort of project that you haven’t got around to finishing. Maybe a repair job, a craft project, a book you lost interest in…
Declutter a shelf in your pantry/food storage space. If your pantry is already in pristine order do the fridge instead.
Declutter something from your car or garage. If you don’t own a car perhaps there is something transport related that you could Declutter.
Declutter an electronic device that you no longer use. Maybe that iPad or laptop you upgraded a long time ago. Old cell phones can usually be donated at your local office supplies store. Or maybe you have a Kindle or the like that you bought but prefer the feel of a real book and it has been sitting idle for ages.
Declutter something long and winding. Perhaps some old electrical cords or leads that you no longer need. Or maybe ribbon, string, yarn or cottons from your craft stash. Tape measures that you have accumulated too many of. Ties or scarves that you no longer wear. Or that snake pit of odd coloured extra shoe laces the some manufacturers include as an extra with a purchase.
Declutter some kind of liquid item that is past its prime. This might be some old nail polish, craft paint or the like that has gotten old and dehydrated. Or it might be a toiletry item that you don’t like. Or maybe go through your pens and make sure there aren’t any that have dried up.
I really am a slack blogger these day. Once again I have been missing missions posts. My only excuse is that I have had visitors. Sorry folks. Today I will give you a Mission to make up for the last three days. One mission, three items.
Identify an area of your home that could use decluttering and reorganisating and find at least three items to declutter.
And now a little side story. Yesterday I took my visitors to a cute little town nearby which has nice antique shops and handmade stores. Although I am not much of a shopper usually I do however enjoy looking at antiques and handmade items. I came home with a second hand book which I will used and then declutter, some candy, which will miraculously disappear 😜, a succulent to add to my balcony garden (no pot required) and also share with a friend and a small secondhand gift for a loved one. So I have helped the economy of that little town in and environmentally friendly way without causing any long term or mass of clutter.
Declutter some scraps of something, maybe timber, paper or fabric, that you set aside to use up one day but have never gotten around to it. Perhaps you can find someone with a similar arts/craft interest that might like to take these items off your hands.
